The one thing to remember that Arista Hardware is running the same Broadcom Trident II ASIC as Cisco Nexus 9K switches are. I was recently in a Arista presentation and there switches are almost the same configurations as the Nexus 95xx and Nexus 93xx series.
Where you really see the difference is when you talk about ACI which by far blows away what Arista has from a overall management piece. I recently did a price comparison that included 2 baby spines and 4 leaf switches, and Cisco was cheaper overall.
