ARP issue

Dear al ,

I run debug arp for one interface and im getting below error . The CPU is running high due to this .

I dont have any IP configured as 192.168.0.13 in my interface but the mac address  00d0.2b14.ed00 is that of my router

Mar  5 08:58:08.022: IP ARP req filtered src 192.168.0.13 00d0.2b14.ed00, dst 192.168.0.14 0000.0000.0000 it's our address

So, the issue is High CPU? If yes, do you have command like this in your config?

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Fastethernetx/x

There is nothing like  " ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Fastethernetx/x " ,even no other route pointing to interface

Have you connected a Hub/L2 switch to the router with hosts attached ?

Looks like the frame is looping back to the router since there is no hosts with the dest ip add.

Just a thought though.

00d0.2b14.ed00,

is a JETCELL mac it is a mobile phone acquired by cisco and it seems he is doing an arp request for  .0.14 which seems to be the router IP.

Can you do a sh ip int br and a sh cdp nei ?
