ASA5525: Going to Active/Standby from Active/Active
I became our site's de facto network engineer when a previous co-worker left. I'll spare the details of why, but we're currently running our ASAs in Active/Active and I'm looking to change this to Active/Standby in the near future. I'm not looking for specifics, but more of a general, high-level overview of the steps involved. My thought process looks something like this:
1. Create a single context that essentially 'merges' the two contexts we're currently running (one from each ASA). These aren't all that different from one another as it currently stands.
2. Change to Active/Standby, single context mode.
3. Change to the context created in step 1.
Does this seem like the right direction? Any roadblocks I should be on the lookout for?
