i have router ASR 1002 for my ISP , do i need ASA firewall for vpn and security , or ASR only ok for that ,,

Reasonably, yes you do need a firewall. NAT does not equal firewalling.

Hi -
You should probably contact a VAR to help you properly size and spec a firewall for your needs. Your internet speed, security requirements (IPS, NGFW, App Security, etc...), network design, and redundancy requirements need to be discussed before deciding which firewall to use.
If you have not previously worked with a VAR, ask your ISP if they can give you a reference to one.
