Have a client looking to implement VOIP using the following Avaya phones:
Avaya 1603-I
Avaya 1608-I
Avaya 9630G
Avaya 1616-I
They will be replacing all current switches with Catalyst 2960S 24 and 48 port switches, all PoE. They also have Cisco 2811 routers that will route the traffic between each location.
I am not familiar with the setup of QoS and in researching I came across the Auto QOS command and wondered if this was something I could use with these switches and these phones.
Was wondering if anyone could provide sample configuration of how the ports connecting to these phones should be configured if auto qos is a possibility.
Thanks!

Hello,
look at the following document that I have attached.
I have configured "auto qos" in one of our clients since a few years and works fine!!
They are content with the performance (more or less 200 phones).
Regards.
This is an example of the configuration for an interface phone.
pruebas-QoS# conf t
pruebas-QoS(config)# interface
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# description
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# switchport mode trunk
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# storm-control broadcast level pps 5124 1000
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# storm-control multicast level pps 5124 1000
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# storm-control action shutdown
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# spanning-tree portfast trunk
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# switchport voice vlan
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# auto qos voip trust
pruebas-QoS(config-if)# switchport priority extend cos 0

are you sure this is working with an Avaya phone ?
Also, do you have any example for the LLDP Configuration for access port ?
