BGP: what is the Org ID associated to our AS?

I'm updating our BGP documentation and am trying to understand the ORG ID listed on our Visio.

Why is an ORG ID necessary when we have our own AS number?

As per my understanding when I applied for AS number organization ID represents what kind of business you are.
