Billing based on amount of data passed inside GRE tunnel

Hi all,

I've been searching the web and looks like NetFlow in combination with nfdump and some scripting I'd be able to produce monthly reports on the amount of data transferred by each GRE tunnel. Is there a simpler way that anyone is aware of?

The amount of traffic is not going to be much around 5 - 10 Mbps.

Thanks in advance,

Sasha.

If all specific tunnel traffic is billed to same party, you could just take bytes/packets transmitted/received on each GRE interface.

Yes, same clients within each GRE. Thanks Joseph.
