book or documents

Hi experts 

i'm doing CCNP , should i study cisco press book or cisco website documents which one gives indepth understanding, i couldnt study both there are thousands pages please suggest me any one.

Cisco Press books and Cisco Learning Network CCNP video series.  You can also sign up for Network Lessons which is pretty good at explaining things so that you can understand them.  I would also recommend www.ine.com, and Safari Books Online will give you access to every Cisco book online for a monthly/yearly cost.

because its easy to find in online also no cost to read the documents thats why im asking.

I do wish that they would provide some material, say study this material, and you will be tested on this material.  It is very true that you can learn everything for the test by using the Cisco documentation online.  However, the books and videos are written for the curriculum.  You can find the exam topics for each certification on the Cisco site. Below is an example for the route exam. I prefer to use material written for the exam topics. It is easier to consume. The Cisco documentation has a lot of extra information that you have to weed through, but you can do it.
