Hello @nijamudeen_aziz

Use FAT16 system on a usb stick (max 2GB capacity). Copy the *.bin file on it and punt it into the switch usb port. Start the switch and enter the command to boot from usb drive:

Switch:  boot usbflash0:imagefile.bin

Best regards

after boot from usbflash0 it struck in POST.

...done Initializing flashfs.

Raise a TAC Case and RMA the switch.

This could very well be CSCvf24186.

If the switch is in ROMMON, post the complete output to the command "dir".

I want to determine if the 2960X is a counterfeit or not.  Counterfeit 2960X can only boot a certain IOS version, usually EX3, EX4 or EX5, and any version will fail software authentication.

What IOS version did this switch originally came with?

original IOS before it corrupt was : c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E1.bin

while software update via HTTP it corrupts and switch get struck, so i delete the original flash (all) and reinitialize with  flash:c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-7.E9 but not succeed. then again download the c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E1.bin and switch:boot flash: c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-4.E1.bin

Console into the switch and reboot.

Post the entire boot-up process.
