are you talking about the IOS or the appliance.

Cisco MAY announce the EoS of the 16mb version 3rd quarter of 2012.

Hi,

I have mentioned below the end of life announcement for 3560 switches

www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps5023/end_of_life_notice_c51-574778_ps5528_Products_End-of-Life_Notice.html

Hope this answers your question.

Cheers

thanks for the replies.

I was thinking about EOL for both IOS and appliance since we are in position to upgrade our clients hardware if needed.

@Somasundaram --- I saw that post but I am a little uncertain as the IOS image my client is using is not mentioned.  But then again it might be a good indication that the whole 3560 line is starting to be fased out?

The entire 3560-series will not be phased out.  There's still some "use" for it as a non-stackable multi-layer switch.  The non-gigabitethernet model, however, is another story.
