My cisco C4500-x switch is not supporting GLC-T SFP transciever. the iOS version of the switch is (cat4500e -UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 03.08.01.E. I check the compatablity of the SFP with the switch and found out the iOS version is too old to support the SFP.
Is it really the ios version problem? if yes, how do I upgrade it ?

@Chala hi, what is exact model of your switch? can you share the '#Sh run' output. now 3.11.x series is the recommended OS version but depends on the exact model. also use below tool to see the compatibility.
GLC-T is End of support now. replacement is GLC-TE

Hello @Chala
It should be the IOS version. Check the compatibility matrix of your C4500 with your exact IOS version. And check the minimum IOS to support SFP GLC-T(E).

Direct upgrade to 3.11.11 is supported.
NOTE:
1. Limitations due to ROMMON version incompatibility has been removed.
2. I've just upgraded a Sup7E, from 3.8.3, to 3.11.11 without an issue.
