Currently I am testing the 3G-functionality of the C819-ISR Router - tried to activate the cellular interface by :
(latest available IOS version installed)
interface Cellular0
ip address negotiated
encapsulation slip
dialer in-band
dialer idle-timeout 30
dialer string APN
dialer-group 1
async mode interactive
end
R1(config-if)#encapsulation ppp
Cellular0: Only SLIP encapsulation supported
R1(config-if)#
even if "encapsulation ppp" is displayed & available I am unable to get it working.
I would appreciate any help.
