Is any able to access the release notes of C9300/9500/9600 IOSXE 17.15.4b? Looks like the URL on Cisco site is pointing to 9800 WLC. Thanks

- @a12288 To me , the URL
https://www-author3.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/9800/17-15/release-notes/rn-17-15-9800.html
looks nonsense (indeed) ; by changing values in one from another release I got :
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst9500/software/release/17-15/release_notes/ol-17-15-9500.html

Thanks, I read the "general" 17.15.4 release notes, but still like to read through the specific 17.15.4b release notes prior committing to use it.

the 4b only added fixes for CSCwr09565 and CSCwq31287. Probably why the release notes are not updated. I would expect the standard release notes to be updated at some point.

- @Dustin Anderson Yes , I have seen that line too, but referring to CSCwr09565 is totally bogus because it it
a bug related to a 9800 controller (too)

yeah, I think the issues is Cisco is making one software to rule them all. Since the same installer is for 9300, 9400, 9500, 9600. probably the base code for the 9800. Makes it a mess for bugs.

I opened a TAC case to clarify this & confirm our thoughts. So, the "root cause" is that

No, it is not.
This is just an excuse for laziness and complacency.

- @a12288 A ridiculous argument ; the download link was invalid. Even now this line
Issues fixed in 17.15.4b CSCwr09565 and CSCwq31287
is wrong because the first bug report is for the 9800
