Hi all,
I can not find in data sheets or FAQs how many VRFs are supported in C9500 or C9300.
Does someone know where can I find this info?

Possibly it might be a platform resource limitation rather than a hard cap max number. If so, there might not be an actual number limit.

". . . and 9600 Series switches the maximum is 1K VRF’s at FCS."
That statement would imply the limit may increase in later releases. Similar might happen for other c9k platforms. Possibly some of these limits might be more due to provide an up sell feature for the larger platforms.
Although such limits should restrict the number of possible VRFs, for limits like 256 or 1k, you may exhaust platform resources first.
I.e. such limitations might be somewhat analogous to the number of OSPF areas and/or processes a router or L3 switch can actually reasonably support. With OSPF or VRF, besides number of instances, much often depends on resource demand of each instance.
