How to sync up the version when I replace it?

Thanks BB, I know the upgrade on SUP. I am asking here is the how the different version of line card I receive fro CiscoRMA, then how to sync with current SUP version ?

Replace

• Take faulty supervisor out of chassis and insert the new one, with a console cable plugged into it. 

Note: Initially both supervisors might not be on same software version but you need to match that. For example, active supervisor could be running 16.9.5 and new/standby 16.9.4.

• If your active supervisor is running in "Bundle" boot mode, then break into the ROMMON of new supervisor, while it is booting up. With help of an USB stick or OOB TFTP access, manually boot the supervisor with same software version as your active supervisor.
