C9500-48Y4C switch uplink down detection

i am using the C9500-48Y4C as an aggregate switch.

its uplinks are EC to another C9500 switch and the down links connect to Access switches.

is there a method to monitor the uplink status so that the down links will all be disabled in event when the uplinks are lost?

 - In a generalized manner  you could monitor the up link with snmp and or snmp manager software coupled with an attached event-handler which can do anything you want when the up link goes down.

Yes, this could be easily achieved with EEM Scripting. See the documentation in the link below. Depending on how you want to monitor the uplink (either by state for physical or by an IP SLA for layer3) you can have the EEM script to react to the event of either an IP becoming unreachable or the interface going in the down state. When the event occurs it will trigger the EEM script.
