Hi

I have 2 router, 1700 and other 1800

On 1700, the show controllers serial 0/0 show:

Hardware is PowerQUICC MPC860

On 1800, the show controllers serial 0/0/0 show:

Hardware is GT96K

What's difference between GT96K and the POWERQUICC?

I can use the cable (POWERQUICC) in the WIC-1T of 1800?

Hi,

I think the Hardware xy only determines the chip used on the WIC. If you have WIC1 or WIC2 in the router you can interconnect them by means of the same type of cable (V.35 or X.21 or RS232). Please note that you will need one DTE (male) and one DCE (female) cable to achieve this. Please also note that until the WIC-1T requires standard serial cable (dark grey-blue) the WIC-2T requires smart serial ( light blue color, smaller connector).

What is the output of "show diag"?
