Can 6506 sup720 handle BGP

Hi,

I am going to use Supervisor 720 on 6506. Two things I wan to make sure can Sup720 handle the BGP table.

and I am goint to use WS-X6516A-GBIC for one Gig fiber link.

Kindly suggest me any alternative module if this one is not suitable and also explain my why not suitable for two 1 gig links.

What is the model number for your Sup-720?

have a look at table-1 in this link.  It provides you the number of IPv4 and IPv6 routes each Sup can Handel.
