Hi, I have a 4510R-E chassis with 2 x SUP6-E sups in slot 5 & 6
Slots 1-4 & 7 have WS-X4648-RJ45V-E modules installed, and we want to populate 8-10 with more 48port PoE linecards.
Some documentation I've seen on CCO states that you cannot run a 4500 w/SUP6E and have more than 240 ports - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/modules/ps2710/ps5494/product_data_sheet0900aecd802109ea_ps4324_Products_Data_Sheet.html
Some other documentation states that you can have more than 240 ports if using a 4510R-E chassis with SUP6-Es and non E-series modules.
Can I then use non-E class blades to populate the rest of the chassis? - eg WS-X4548-RJ45V+
It's not viable for us to spend the money to upgrade from SUP6-Es to SUP7-Es just so we can fully populate our chassis.
Cheers, Dom
