Can I use crypto ios instead of w/o crypto

Hi guys,

if my core switch 4500e has non crypto ios and I want to upgrade it into crypto ios can this work?

old ios : cat4500e-ipbase-mz.122-40.SG.bin

New ios need to be upgraded : cat4500e-ipbasek9-mz.122-53.SG2.bin

so there is no extra thing I have to do it...just follow the upgrade process as in cisco doc:

So will not affect on old line cards which are already installed in the chassis, and will not affect on the configuration inside the switch?

If you're upgrading from non-crypto to crypto (and the version numbers stays the same), then there should be no issues.
