Can only ping one device attached to switch MAC address or Vlan problem?

Greetings, I am having some issues with set a move--on a network that I didn't design but was rushed to implement.   I have a user with a desktop switch,(2960), which is connected to a 2960 access switch, which is connected to the core switch, (3850).  Connected to the Desktop switch are 3 devices:

Desktop Switch in Vlan 20, (mgt)

Device A: user PC  vlan 106

Devices B and C:  Other devices Vlan 701

If I try to ping hosts A and B from the PC, desktop switch, or Access switch, I get a reply from Host A, but not from Host B.

If I try to ping hosts A and B from the Core, I can reach both.

Addresses for both vlan 106 and 701 are passed out via DHCP.

I noticed at one point the ARP Table on the Core switch had an incomplete entry for one of the devices.

This is happening across multiple setups.  I figure it has to be on the Access or Core because these worked at the old location, but the subnets/vlans were changed as part of the move.  Attaching copy of pings, any help would be appreciated---please let me know what you need to see/attached.

Thanks very much.

Hi,

If I try to ping hosts A and B from the PC, desktop switch, or Access switch, I get a reply from Host A, but not from Host B.

Make sure host B has the correct default gateway.

Ok--thanks...

I should also add that it's happening on more than one device.

And if I add a loopback interface on the 63/vlan 701, I can't ping A or B
