I have a WS-C3750X-48T-L switch running C3750E-IPBASEK9-M Version 12.2(58)SE2 and I can't configure private-vlans because the private-vlan command isn't there. I can't find any documentation that says this is a licensed feature or that its not included in 12.2(58)SE2 for some reason.
Any suggestions?

For private vlan config, IP Base license should is sufficient. Try enabling sdm first
sdm prefer default
Here is the config guide:

That didn’t work but I may see the problem. The switch license Level is LANbase despite the IOS.
Does the LANbase license really prevent the use of private vlans?
