Is there a way to disable the IOS warning that appears after a "spanning-tree port type edge trunk" is entered?
TIA,

perhaps with interface commands :
no logging event link-status
no snmp trap link-status

There is a good reason for having this warning which is to notify users when they accidentally enable the command on interfaces that are NOT host facing.
Any specific reason for wanting to disable this warning?

Yes, it’s in a validated config used in a highly controlled environment, and so a warning is not needed.
We’ve orchestrated the config process and don’t want to have to add special handling for a warning that isn’t needed.
