Can we stack below 2 switches--WS-C3850-12S-E& WS-C3850-48P-S?

Please note--WS-C3850-12S-E has IP service feature

WS-C3850-48P-S has IP Base feature.

if this stack created anyhow and I create WS-C3850-12S-E as Master then will this switch  push IP service IOS to WS-C3850-48P-S?

Master always replicate its IOS to its member-----is this sentence right?

yes you can stack mix and match of 3850 stack, make sure all running same IOS version of code.

here is the reference document : (look at Scalable StackWise-480 Architecture)

Yes, this is a very common scenario.

Yes and no.  Yes, it can be done.  But no, it's not recommended because if there are IP Services commands enabled and the 12S dies, the 48P won't support the IP services commands.

Recommendation is to upgrade the license of the 48P to IP Services.
