Can we turn cisco 881 wan port fa4 into switchport?

Hi guys, 

I have a cisco 881 router and i would like to turn faat ethernet into a switchport. Is that possible?

Basically fa4 is considered a wan port where an ip add should be assigned direclty as per documentation.  But i would like to create a svi interface lets say vlan 10 and assign ip add and then assign this vlan to fa4 as access vlan. I can do this on fa0-3 but fa4 is not accepting switchport command.

Hi,

If the port is considered a wan port, you can't change it from routed port to a switch port.
