cannot boot image

i'm using cisco 2600 series router.

i can't boot the flash, when i reset the router, it goes through the rommon prompt.

i'm try to xmodem console download, but i can't.

may someone help me?

Maybe there is some prob. with the flash. can you try replacing that?

can u paste the output of hyperterminal? So that I can see what you are doing....

Secondly, you can boot the router without flash, using command "tftpdnld -r" at rommon mode.Try that. After that if you are able to format the flash and reload IOS, then the flash is OK. If u cant then then you need replacement.

Hi

You can try in rommon mode do a sh flash

or dir to show up the content of the flash

then type boot flash bootflash:iosname

or just type boot.
