Cannot pass Vlan traffic between 2960x and SG300

Hello,

I have 2 switches 2960x and 2 SG300-28

I create vtp between my 2960 and every things is okay... And in SG300 create manually vlans exactly like name and ID in 2960 and enable GRVP in SG300, but cannot pass traffic between them, my uplinks are Trunk,

I have pinged in vlan 28 in 2960 switches

And I have like this vlan 28 in SG300, but I cannot ping my host in other side(in SG300)...

I set IP on every switch (vlan1)...

2960-01 > 192.168.2.230

2960-02 > 192.168.2.231

SG300-01 > 192.168.2.232

SG300-02 > 192.168.2.233

And I don't have any restricting on switch...

I reset factory all my switch... And I set just ssh and vtp and vlans...

I'm confused... I did this one time and worked good, but when I reset factory and configured again, but work not at all...

Hi,

on 2960x switches, can you write switchport nonegotiate on the trunk ports? It could be DTP causing the issue. The interfaces on SG300, are they hardcoded to be trunks?

Dear Friend,

I did that (switchport nonegotiate) on every uplinks, can you explain about hardcoded in SG300...?

Thanks,

Hi, sorry, i was not clear enough. Hardcoded I meant manually, DTP in Cisco switches can cause them to think that a trunk port should be an access port hence, making them into access ports even though it is connected to another switch and should be an trunk port.

Now that you have done nonegotiate, is it still not forming trunks?

Dear Borgen this info about my ports

Hi,

can you run show interface trunk on the 2960 switches?

Please run show cdp neighbor as well.

Hi,

Now, I found my problem, I joined interface 27(uplink to 2960-01) on SG300 to vlan 28 and I can ping it , but just in 2960-01 can ping that vlan, but every 2 switch 2960 are vtp but in 2960-02 can not ping that host in sg300...!

Can you disable VTP Pruning? I wonder if that causes the issues, I do not think that SG300 can handle VTP.

Is it only Vlan 1 and 28 you are using?

Hi... I reset factory and set again... every things works good...

Thank You for your Help...
