Catalyst 4500-X 16 port ios from scratch

I received my Catalyst 4500-X 16 port unit as a part without the ios install. Where can I find the necessary ios files and instruction to get the unit up to where I can start configuration? Thanks.

Thanks. My unit came without the ios pre-install. I need to install the ios before I can get to the normal installation and configuration instructions these guides provided.

Usually every unit is shipped with an IOS, so you can boot the device and make all the necessary changes. If it did not come with an IOS at all, than you would have to download a version and install it. Here is a link to download it. You would need a valid support contract and a CCO account to download.
