Hello, community!
I want to find out how redundancy for 4500 switches (like 4510R-+E 4507R-+E) really works. Looking to the nonredundant chassis 4506E I do not see any microchips, and so there is no clever device, accept the SUP, that could fail and stop all switch. Looking to the redundant chassis 4510R-+E 4507R-+E I see a clock module with microchips. If this module will fail, will it stop the entry chassis with 2x redundant SUPs?
If this 'clock' module will fail, will it stop the entry chassis with 2x redundant SUPs?
Regards, Serhii.
