Can you clarify exactly what you are looking for ?

The document you linked to seems pretty clear on what EoS and EoL mean.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong ....

End of life : means we will not be able to buy new 6500 switch after October 31 2019 onwards ...

End of support : Customer who has 6500 switches will get support till Oct 31 2025 ?

End of life :   October  31, 2019

End of support :  October 31, 2025

Hello,

the end of sale date is actually a part of the end of life policy, they are usually not the same. The end of life date is usually six months before the end of sale date.

You are right about the end of support implications.

The document linked below might clarify this further, it can indeed get a bit confusing:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/eos-eol-policy.html

Device anounced end of life 2019, if you smartnet contract with csico they replace hardware last date 2025 (this what my understanding)
