Recently we bought a 6509 with 2 Sup2T. As we decided to upgrade IOS, we copied desired IOS into bootdisk and deleted the old IOS. Then we changed the bootvar and boot system flash path to propers IOS.
after we restarts the switch it goes to SP6> environment. Note that "6" is the slot number in which SUP2T is inserted.
I searched the internet and could not find out how to go to Rommon environment from this mode (SP>). The available commands in this mode is very different from Rommon environment.
I logged the boot prccess and didn't find anything.
any information about this mode? Any suggestion how to go to Rommon from SP> ???
