I am looking at QoS configuration on a new Catalyst 9300 and get the following error when I try to apply
the input service policy to an interface using the command "service-policy input MARKING"
"Stile filter type 2 is not supported"
Any ideas?
[The error is exaclty as shown but I am guessing there is a typo in the code and is should say "Style".]
The policy map is using e.g.
class VOICE
set dscp ef" ad
where the class map is
class-map match-all VOICE
match protocol attribute traffic-class voip-telephony
match protocol attribute business-relevance business-relevant
Upgrade to Version 16.8.1a to looked to have "fixed" the issue. Reading the releases notes looks like this versions added support for "match protocol attribute"
Not Sure how you manage to get that to work but I am running 16.9.3 and I am having the same issue.
-SW(config-if)# service-policy input POLICY-INGRESS-LAN-MARKING
Stile filter type protocol attribute type 3 is not supported (attribute_id 27) for wired ports
