Catalyst 9400 Bandwidth Numbers

Hi,

I was looking at the datasheets for the 9400s. Taking the example of a 9410, I see that all supervisors currently support 80Gbps per slot. I was confused as to if that rating was unidirectional or bidirectional.

It is 80Gbps in each direction for the 9410 with any of the Supervisors.

How to Ask The Cisco Community for Help

Thank you, I will read through it. I was speculating that the numbers were 80Gbps for TX plus 80Gbps for RX (160Gbps total) based on their over subscription ratios and 10G/40G port configurations on the supervisors.

*edit* - I need to be more clear with my usage of unidirectional and bidirectional so I edited out those terms in my response. I may be using them wrong or in a confusing way.
