IOS XE 17.03.03

Bootloader 17.01.01r

During Golden Capsule upgrade, standby supervisor hung on restart during initializing hardware, and blue flashing light on locator appeared. We have tried reloading, reloading IOS on main supervisor, switching card locations, shutting power for extended period of time, and letting it initialize for an extended period. Switching, Catalyst 9000

We cannot boot break as it never initializes.

Found a known bug in previous versions of IOS XE but non listed for Amsterdam.

(This is the 7th stack completed, only this standby supervisor has failed)

It may be that this is a hardware issue. I would open a ticket with TAC and have them process an RMA.

HTH

Opening ticket with TAC now, was hoping for an internal solution haha. Thank you.

Console output is

Initializing Hardware.........

Flash Firmware tool SEG

GRNU05.05.15.0026

(Some excluded for space)

Then it loads until 16%, and restarts this process

Yeah, I saw that listed for the 16.x.x, I had not seen anything for 17.x.x. yet. Thank you!
