Catalyst 9500-32C 100G breakout to 25G on 9500-48Y4C

Hi,

   I have a "notconnect" issue for the100G breakout to 4x 25G.

   . Both 9500-32C and 9500-48Y4C are updated to latest version 17.07.1.

   . The Cisco breakout cable is connected,100G on 9500-32C and 25G on 9500-48Y4C.

   . The breakout cable is QSFP-4SFP25G-CU1M.

   . set breakout command "hw-module breakout 1" on 9500-32C

  The 9500-32C port 1 shows "inactive" which is normal.

  Howerver the breakout ports shows "notconnect".

      Hu1/0/1/1 notconnect 1 full 25G QSFP28 4S FP25G CU1M

  Is there anything I missed?

  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

 - Anything in  the logs of both devices when connection attempt is being made ?

Finally, I got the soluation.

The C9500-32C, C9500-32QC, C9500-48Y4C, and C9500-24Y4C models of the Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series Switches do not support autonegotiate.

So I need to do "speed nonegotiate" both on the 100G interface (9500-32C) and 25G interface (9500-48Y4C).
