Hello everyone, I am aware that CE 500 switches do not have internal hardware clocks with batteries which means that on every reload/power cycle they lose time and date configuration and go back to the default 1993 date.
I am about to configure an NTP server on this client's network to solve this issue but I need to show them at least one Cisco document where they can confirm this issue.
Question:
Does anyone know of a Cisco paper/document where it is stated that CE 500 switches and/or other small-to-medium business switches do not have internal hardware clocks with batteries and that this causes the date and time to reset on every reload/power cycle?
I will really appreciate any help on this topic...
