catlyst 3560 issue

currently i am using 24 P C3560 switch

*Mar 1 05:19:42.934: %DOT1X-5-FAIL: Authentication failed for client (Unknown MAC) on Interface Fa0/1
*Mar 1 05:19:42.934: %AUTHMGR-7-RESULT: Authentication result 'server dead' from 'dot1x' for client (Unknown MAC) on Interface Fa0/1
*Mar 1 05:19:42.934: %AUTHMGR-5-FAIL: Authorization failed for client (Unknown MAC) on Interface Fa0/1

 getting this error continuously.. after sometime switch will automatically shutdown.. i power on manually..

kindly suggest pls..

The logs are related to 802.1X protocol. Do you use this authentication service?

If no you can disable the protocol globally using the command

no dot1x system-auth-control

About shutdown.... It's strange. Do you have all leds turned off? and the fan?

Could be a crash. What happens if you connect to the switch using console? What is the output?

Do you have crashinfo file in your flash memory?

Fa 0/1 configured authenticaltion service.. but its seems Authz Failed status.. Mac address shows unknown..how can get my crash report?

Use 'show flash' to check the files stored in flash.

After restated as of now i didn't face any issue.. its under obesrvation if any issues i will share the report.

If you are still aware about what could be the root cause of the crash post the extended crashfile from the switch.
