We use several Dedicated Micros digital video recorders connected to Cat6509 switches running CatOS v8.5(9). we also run port security on all ports with the following configuration: set port security 3/36 enable age 1 maximum 1 shutdown 1 unicast-flood enable violation restrict
The security staff will watch these dvr's using a web based viewer and the video on the viewer will lock up consistantly, after it locks up you can start it again and it will run for a minute and lock up again. I noticed in the switch log that it will lock up when the aging timer expires. This problem seems to be only on our CatOS switches. Anybody have any ideas?
