CDP is not supported on ASA or PIX. What you can do is speak to cisco about it if you need it. maybe they can make it available on the next ASA software version.
Please rate if this helps.

Hi,
AFAIK CDP is enabled by default on all cisco platforms. You can enable it manually in global config mode with following command:
Router(Config)#cdp run
But in case of ASA it is not enabled by default(In my knowledge). Also it depends on the Software version you are running.
Please chk this URL:

HTH,

shri :)
