i was thinking cdp passes only by native vlan (by default vlan1). but my computer is connected to a port configured in vlan 111 and it still receive cdp. is this normal?

Hi,
CDP is not restricted to Native VLAN, Each CDP-configured device sends periodic messages to a multicast address, but the question is how do you receive the CDP packets on your PC ?

on the switchport interface that you don't want cdp enabled on, enter the following command:
no cdp enable
or to globally disable cdp, enter:
no cdp run
