Hello to all,

i have a Cisco 1760 and two WIC cards insite (one is WIC-1ENET and second is Cisco WIC-4ESW) i installed all of them in router.

Now  i want to create vlan's on cards, and i started creating vlan's on  Cisco WIC-4ESW (i created vlan 5-6-7-8, assigned static ip to any vlan  and its vorking).

Now i want to add Ethernet0/0 (WIC-1ENET) to vlan 9 but when i enter command "switchport access vlan 9" it said to me this:

Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.

cisco1760.toni-infor(config)#interface ethernet0/0

cisco1760.toni-infor(config-if)#switchport access vlan 9

                                 ^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

cisco1760.toni-infor(config-if)#

Can  anyone tell me how to fix this and also how to add default  fastethernet0/0 (on cisco 1760) interface to vlan 10 becouse this  command "

switchport access" wont work.

Tnx a lot on help and answers.

Hello

You can not add a vlan to a routed interface, like the 4esw.

The Wic-4esw, is a switch Wic, and the WIC-1ENET is a routed interface that behaves like the interfaces of the router.

To do vlan assigments, do subinterfaces and assing
