Hello,
I'd like to upgrade this IAD as it's end of life. However I don't know what would provide the same functionality. ISR models are recommended. Should I be getting the isr 4000 series? If so, which one? It's for the purpose of handling about 15 phones. I tried calling Cisco support but I was hung up on when I dialed the option to talk to someone.
Thanks,
Me

Hi,
If it is just for 15 phones, you can use the 2900 series. A 2921 is most likely cost less than a 4000 series. Have a look at the data sheet (table-7). It also depends on how many Ethernet ports (copper or fiber) you need.

Actually the 2900 is end of life this year. http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/2900-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/eos-eol-notice-c51-737831.html
as well as the 3900 http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/routers/3900-series-integrated-services-routers-isr/eos-eol-notice-c51-737830.html
So I guess we'll go with the 4000 series

Hi,
Yes, in that case, the 4000 series can do the job for you.
