Cisco 2960 Switch Broadcast issue

Hello Team,

I have Cisco 2960 Switches in offices but suddenly my cpu utilization is going high. When i analyse the cause then i came to know that unnecessary broadcast is coming from one port, when i shutdown that port its goes down normal. 

Please help me to set some parameter so that i can avoid such kinds of Broadcast Storm in my network.

Hi

you could look into setting up storm control , if it happens again you can have it automatically shut the effected port or just send you a warning when broadcast storm occurs
