Cisco 2960x License

Hello
I have just been hired by a company, the previous employee updated some Cisco 2960x switches to the latest version and this caused the switches to lose their lanbase licenses, so the switches are not working, is there a solution to this problem?

Oh I didn't see that answer sorry.

You mean, you tried that comme under config-t ; sdm prefer lanbase-routing ; write and reload ?

Provide the output of that command:

It's bug CSCur56395. 

You may need 15.2(7)E1 to fix things...Also, do you try hard reset as suggested ?...by removing the power cables (wait a minute) and then power them back on.

You should run in privilege mode, not conf t

Looking at the model number, the C2960x is an older model and so there is no license for it...so the command #sh lic is not available. Licensing applies to newer models of Cisco switches, routers, sups, etc

You'd simply need to get the IOS with the feature set you need !

I appreciate the tips.but there are near 10 of this switch and they have been updated many times before . i compare out put of the command and this is the difference

you see the difference ? 

when i boot the switch two logs appear:

and

I tested many ios but the problem does not solved.

In the FAQ page I read:

Q. Do I need a software license for the Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switches?
A. No. Cisco Catalyst 2960-X Series Switches use the Universal image, but no license is required. The feature set is bound to the hardware model type and cannot be changed. For convenience, a single software image is used for all Cisco Catalyst 2960-X and 2960-XR switches, regardless of whether they are IP Lite, LAN Base, or LAN Lite models.

Hello Everyone

I have a question about this issue , i asked about my problem from a friend , he told in new Cisco IOS for detecting end users Cisco has changed its Licensing terms . 

Is it possible this is cause of my problem ?

I  upgraded switch WS-C2960X-24PS-L from 15.2(7)E6 to 15.2(7)E11 yesterday and did not face any license term related issue. License is same before and after upgrade.
