Cisco 3500 XL switch access

Good morning,

I'm trying to access the swith to erase all users IP information for each line etc,

I've run the following commands

flash_init

load_helper

boot

The switch reboted ok but i cannot access the switch as it has a motd banner and login, how do i go about removing the banner and login  so i can reset the switch

Hi Paul ,

The easy way is to hold the button on the from panel for some time. This will automatically do password recovery.

If you want to do it manualy, after load_helper you should rename the startup config :

rename flash:config.text flash:config.text.old

and after that boot.
