Dear All,
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or can assist me with a case. I have tried this on Cisco 3550 and 3560-E units and have experienced the same issue.
I am running dot1Q-tunnel on a few switches however with one supplier we notice there are constantly problems. I have VLAN 163 set up for Q-in-Q tunneling however every now and then the whole vlan stops working and we stop seeing the mac addresses on this particular VLAN. The only way we can restore the Q-in-Q session is to remove the vlan and put it back.
vlan 163
name
interface GigabitEthernet0/2
switchport access vlan 163
switchport mode dot1q-tunnel
switchport port-security maximum 2000
switchport port-security
switchport port-security violation restrict
load-interval 30
speed 1000
duplex full
storm-control broadcast level bps 10m
storm-control multicast level bps 10m
no cdp enable
spanning-tree portfast
spanning-tree bpdufilter enable
end
Any help or advice would be great guys.
Cheers,
William
