Cisco 3750. IP Routing Command not exisitant!!

Hi,

I have just bought two Cisco 3750 and stacked them. When in global config mode, The IP Routing Command does not exisit. Help appreciated ASAP.

My current license level is LAN Base. Is this the issue? If so how do I gain the correct license?

That is really weird the 3750E is not even suposed to support LAN Base. That said this would be your problem LAN base only supports layer 2 fuctions.

Are these 3750Es or 3750Xs with the E image running on them? If so you would need to buy a licence upgrade for these devices such as "L-C3750X-48-L-S" licence to upgrade from LAN Base to IP Base if the switch is 48 port. The datasheet has more info under the "Product Activation Process" section.

Contact your cisco reseller, and buy the upgraded license.
