I have the above switch (3750) installed. The problem I have below is based on one of the port groups and not all:
I have an ESX host running Esxi 5.5 setup with 4 nics using NIC teaming based on port id.
On the switch I have 2 ports lets say gi0/1 - 2
Config for each port is:
# switchport mode trunk
# swicthport truck allowed vlan 2-100
# switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
# spanning tree portfast trunk
# channel-group 1 mode active
Portchannel config:
Interface Port-channel1
# switchport mode trunk
# swicthport truck allowed vlan 2-100
# switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
# spanning tree portfast trunk
When I run:
# sh protocols (it shows the portchannel down)
and when I run:
# show LACP neighbor (it only shows the uplink port group 12)
I have check the config on the ESX host and it is the same as my other ESX hosts which I must add work correctly.
For the life of me I cannot find the problem and why LACP is not active.
Any help would be great
