cisco 3750 qos for self originated traffic

Hi,

I have a Cisco 3750 with ipbasek9 IOS.

I am tring to mark self originated traffic with DSCP.

I found documantation for how to do this with:

1. control plane

2. ip local policy

3. policy-map on the Trunk

1 and 3 are not supported with a "set" command in the service-policy when configured outbound.

2- Is supported but only with ip precedence.

Is there another way to do qos (DSCP based) marking for self originated traffic? Do I need to upgrade my IOS to get things working?

Hi,

After working on it alone, I found out that the use of route-map -> set ip precedence with set ip tos you can

achieve DSCP marking.
