what is the chance of cisco 3750x 24 port poe switch failure? is backup necessary for this ? please answer me in details.

If you have a Cisco switch with, at least, one faulty port you RMA the appliance.
There is nothing more detailed than that.

If you want to keep your configuration yes make sure you backup.
To backup setup a TFTP server (TFTP 32 is good for this) and run the following command on the switch and follow the prompts: copy running-config tftp
To restore the configuration on your new switch: copy tftp running-config
Make sure you save your configuration by running after you have restored the backup: copy running-config startup-config
